Requirements

• Applicants for the Ron Brown Scholarship MUST be Black/African American, US citizens or permanent residents, and a current high school senior at the time of their application.

Horatio Alger National Scholarship

Requirements

• Be enrolled full time as a high school junior in the United States
• Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
• Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
• Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
• Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
• Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and
• Be a United States citizen

Bridging the Dream Scholarship

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled as a high school senior for 2024-2025 academic year
• Plan to be a full time student during the 2024-2025 academic year
• Plan to be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution or continuous education program opens in a new window during the 2024-2025 academic year
• Current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher
• Be Pell-Grant eligible
• Be  a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

• Be a diverse candidate
• Diverse shall include, but not limited to: Gender, Disability, Race, Ethnicity, Belonging to an underserved community
• Able to demonstrate leadership abilities

UW Nikkei Alumni Association Scholarship

Open to full-time students of Japanese Ancestry attending UW. Applications are evaluated on academic achievement, financial need, and school/community service, especially to the Japanese-American community.

Sea Mar Farmworker High School & College Scholarships

Requirements

• Students who work or have worked OR, whose parent/legal guardian is or has worked as a farm worker
• High school senior, incoming college students and college students, who show commitment to their education, demonstrate leadership and care about the community
• Exhibit financial need due to individual/family hardship
• Will be enrolling as a full-time student in a higher education institute the upcoming academic year
• Are not applicants who have previously been a recipient of this scholarship either as a high school student or college student. This scholarship is a one-time award.

Latino/a Educational Achievement Project Scholarship

Requirements

• High school seniors, new and current college undergraduates and, and new and current graduate students who will be:
• Enrolling in a higher education institute the upcoming academic year.
• Demonstrate a sense of obligation to improving or advancing the community.
• Committed to achieving educational and leadership goals.
• Exhibit financial need due to individual/family hardship.
• Will be enrolling as a half-time or full-time student in a higher education institute the upcoming academic year.

Hispanic Fund Scholarship

Requirements

• Must be of Hispanic heritage
• U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
• Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2024-2024 academic year
• Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship

Requirements

• Up to $22,500 in free scholarships for those planning to study a STEM major in a WA college

InspirASIAN makes a difference in our community by supporting graduating high school seniors with their college education through our scholarship awards.

InspirASIAN awards national scholarships to students residing in any state with a participating local InspirASIAN chapter.

All students who apply will be considered for the national scholarships awards.

Students who are not awarded national scholarships will be considered for state scholarships if offered by local InspirASIAN chapters

Sierra Nevada Corporation Women in STEM Scholarship

Requirements

• Self-identify as female
• Be current high school seniors, college undergraduates, or graduate level students pursuing a degree and career in a non-medical, STEM-related field
• Plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year
• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

APIA Scholarship

Requirements

• Be able to describe your ethnicity, heritage, or ancestry in relation to the countries, territories, or lands in Asia or the Pacific Islands
• Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply
• Be enrolling or continuing as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in a U.S. accredited college or university in Fall 2025
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted), or equivalent, or have earned a GED
• Must apply for federal financial aid for the 2025-2026 academic year using the Free Application for the Federal Student Aid (FASFA) by early April 2025

Innovation in Education Scholarship

Requirements

• Must currently be enrolled as a high school, college/university, or graduate student.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or the equivalent).
• Must be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada.
• Must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others (This could be a website, series of blogs, an app, fundraising event, etc.)
• Must submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation. There is no minimum or maximum word/page count.
• The essay, idea, or creation must be the applicant’s original work.
• All submissions must be uploaded no later than 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month. The submission window closes starting the 21st and will reopen on the 1st at 8:00 a.m. Students are welcome to reapply each month. Previous winners are not eligible to reapply.
• Scholarship winners will be contacted via email and must respond within five(5) days of the date of the email to accept the award. If no response is received within this time, another recipient will be selected. Students who have not been chosen will not be contacted.

 

Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship

Requirements

• A high school senior from a recognized minority background who will be playing golf at the collegiate level. Qualifications for all scholarships include strong academic programs, community service, and recommendations

 

Barbara Lotze Scholarship for Future Physics Teachers

Requirements

• an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited two-year college, four-year college or a university; or a high school senior accepted for such enrollment.
• pursuing, or planning to pursue, a course of study leading toward a career in physics teaching in the high schools.
• showing promise of success in their studies, and a citizen of the United STates of America.

Dell Scholars

Requirements

• Participate in a program-approved college readiness program in grades 11 and 12
• Be on track to graduate from an accredited high school in the current academic year
• Demonstrate a need for financial assistance
• Be eligible to receive a federal Pell Grant in first year of college
• Plan to enroll full time at an accredited higher education institution in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in the fall directly following high school graduation
• Earn a minimum of a 2.4 GPA

 

National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholar

Requirements

• The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
• The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students.
• The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests.
• The applicant can only use the $15,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• The applicant must not have previously spoken at the Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner.

 

Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team Education Scholarships

Requirements

• Enrolled at an accredited high school, college or university. Please note that all types of colleges, including four-year, community colleges and “junior colleges” qualify for eligibility.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Essay submission must be received by December 1, each year.

 

Tocris Scholarship Program

Requirements

• Tocris is proud to support students who are pursuing a science related field of study (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science). The Tocris Scholarship Program has been established to award a $1,500 scholarship (or international currency equivalent) twice a year for the fall and spring semesters.
• This scholarship is open to students accepted/enrolled in a college/university/institute within US, Canada and European Countries who are pursuing a science related field of study (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science).

 

AVACARE MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP

Requirements

• Citizen of the United States or in possession of an Alien Registration Card
• High school senior or enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university
• Achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Pursuing a degree in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, health law, etc.
• Although all students with the above criteria are welcome to apply for this scholarship, preference will be given to students with a physical disability.

American Indian Services Scholarship

Requirements

• Enrolled or will enroll as a matriculated student in a university, college, junior college or technical school located in the United States (incoming freshman accepted)

• Must be enrolled or will enroll with an accredited school (Check accreditation status with your school, or visit here for accredited school list. If your school is not accredited by any of the agencies, it is not eligible)

• An enrolled member of a U.S. Federally Recognized American Indian or Alaska Native Tribe, (Visit here to find out how to contact your tribe, apply for enrollment, and/or apply for a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood).

• Undergraduate student with no more than 150-semester credits or 210 quarter credits (First bachelor’s degree only, graduate studies NOT currently eligible)

• Full-time or part-time status – excluding non-credit courses (minimum of 6 credits)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 must be established and maintained after the first semester/quarter of college
• Completed Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Requirements

• If you’re an aspiring designer, manufacturer, engineer, artist, architect, or any other type of innovator, this scholarship is intended for you. The application is open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students. Due to complexities with international funding, we will only consider submissions from U.S. citizens.
